Maggie Carroll wrote this letter to her cousin Maggie Tehan in December 1890. Maggie Tehan was a native of Coolderry who emigrated with her parents and 6 siblings to St. Louis, U.S.A. in 1883. Maggie refers to her visit out to Coolderry to visit her relations there and to a bazaar in the new school. The bazaar was held during the Summer of 1890. Maggie says she was "at a bazaar in the new school it was very nice we had great sport" Maggie Tehan is a daughter of Martin Tehan listed as an Ancestor.
