Hello! My nan, Maureen Teresa Walsh, grew up in Ballymacelligott. Her parents were Bridget Regan and Timothy Walsh. Her younger twin siblings were Josie and Timothy Walsh.
I'm looking for any further information on them. The date of birth I was given by and for my nan was 20/09/1917. However when I applied for her birth certificate they couldn't find her for a couple of years either side!
Any help/guidance greatly appreciated.

I looked for Maureen in the FamilySearch database, but was not able to locate her there. Unfortunately, Walsh is one of the most common names in Ireland, and Regan/Reagan is pretty common as well.
Ballymacelligott (in Irish, Baile Mhic Eileagóid) is the name of both a civil parish east of Tralee, and a townland within that parish, It is also the name of the local Catholic parish, but the civil and Catholic parishes do not have the same boundaries, as can sometimes be the case (they were formed at different points in history, and boundaries were sometimes changed). The Catholic parish is larger, and it looks from the maps at the sites listed below as though it contains most, if not all, of the civil parish, as well as parts of one or more other civil parishes.

When you get to the townland level at that site, there are further links to the 1901 and 1911 census records for the townland, as well as the records from Griffith's Valuation (mid-1800's). I looked at the census records, and no Walsh or Regan families are shown. The Griffith's Valuation records appear to be very numerous, so I leave it to you to look through them later if you want, since they don't relate to the immediate time period you want.
The Catholic parish records for Ballymacelligott which are available online also cover a period earlier than what you want, but you might be able to find a marriage record (or baptismal records) for Timothy and/or Bridget. Those records are available here: https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0655
