CARROLL of Clogheen < 1850
Michael Mahony and Margaret Carroll were married in St. Mary’s, Clogheen, Tipperrary on 29 January 1815:
"Matrim. Conj. Michaelem Mahony & Margaritam Carroll / Joanne Cole & Patritis Carroll Testibus Matthias Casey"
It seems likely that “Patritis Carroll” [Patrick Carroll] was a kinsman of Margaret (Carroll) Mahony.
Is anyone else researching the Carroll family of Clogheen prior to 1850?
By the way, the Catholic registers for Clogheen are online at…

Dear Perry:
Thank you for your post to the message board. Would you be interested in creating an Ancestor Profile for Margaret Carroll on the XO Chronicles? The information that you have provided might be a clue for others researching the same family and they can collaborate and share information with you.
Kind regards,

Perry,
I have attached a number of records that possibly relate to your post. There is also a record for children Marie 1828 and John Dec1829 to parents Michael Mahony and Ellen Carroll in Ballylooby Parish. The Cahir address for Margaret's birth in Cahir is on the border with Ballylooby Parish.
You will have to see and decide what elements fit on your family tree.
Regards
Thomas Hussey (nastive of Cahir)
