Hi,
I will be spending eight days in Co Tipp in August.
I have done a lot of research on my Fanning ancestors who came from Thurles and before that Lissaroon in Drom & Inch Parish.
My gr gr gr grandfather Edward Fanning married Judy Darmody in 1808. They lived in Grange in Thurles.
Her Darmody family came from Racecourse, also inThurles.
I have searched St Marys Protestant Cemetery and also Killinan Cemetery.
Am wondering if anyone knows of any other cemeteries where Edward and Judy Fanning could be buried in and near Thurles.

Hi Kathleen.
If you Google Fanning headstones in Ballycahill graveyard , you will get a lot of material.
Best of luck, let me know how you get on.
Christina.

Thanks Christina but I forgot to mention that I have been to Ballycahill Cemetery and also Loughmore Cemetery where lots of my Fannings are buried.
I am after any other cemeteries to explore within Thurles where my direct ancestors could be buried. They lived in Grange in Thurles.
