Oral tradition has my 2nd great-grandfather coming to the U.S. from Meath. Christopher Fagan was first listed in the U.S. census in Farmington, Connecticut, USA, in 1850. Other data we have: born 1821 in Ireland, married Mary Margaret Conlon in the U.S. and had 9 children, nick- named "the potato king," died in New Britain, Connecticut, 30 December 1872, while living in same city.
We have no parrish or sibling information. Any and all information is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Jack Fagan
