I had an uncle named Daniel (Danny) Clancy who lived in Balleymacravan, Ennistymon, Co Clare. He was born in the 1890s. He had a sister, Susannah who lived in Lisdoonvarna. His sister, Della Clancy was my grandmother. I wonder if any of his family is still living there?
Thanks for any help

Hi Macushla
Welcome to IrelandXO
This is the Marriage record of Susan Clancy, daughter of Daniel Clancy to Michael Clancy of Lisdoonvarna.
Daniel Clancy Senior census record with his 2nd wife in 1901. His 1st wife died in 1892.
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Clare/Ennistymon/Ballymacraven/1073049/
Daniel Clancy Senior census record for 1911 indicates that they had 4 children who are still alive. Daniel Jnr 1902 & Susan 1905 are not listed.
Appears your grandmother if born in 1883 was a half sister to Daniel & Susan.

Hi Una, Thanks for your reply. My grandmother, Della Clancy immigrated to New York City about 1910. She had 3 sons one of whom was Robert Burman, my father. I visited Balleymacraven with my family when I was a child more than 50 yrs ago. I do remember meeting Danny and Michael and I believe there was a baby, maybe you? Do you still live on the farm? Or a different town? I have very fond memories of my uncle Danny letting me play in the hay stacks and taking me for rides on his donkeys. It was a magical place to visit for a kid from NYC.
Would love to connect and share some old photos I have.
Could we connect via email?
My address is: nuttallburman@verizon.netThank you and best regards,
