The possible deaths that you ask about appear to be under the surname Donaldson. However if Margaret was married to a Mr Girvan then her death will be registered under that name, not Donaldson. The only Margaret Girvan death I can see of the right sort of age was one in Belfast on 19.2.1922 aged 76. If you want the full details it’s pay to view on the GRONI website. It costs £2.50 to view. Neither Ancestry nor the irishgenealogy site have births, deaths or marriages for what is now Northern Ireland, after 31.12.1921. Only GRONI have those records.
The 1867 marriage between William Davis and Jane Donladson does not appear to be your family. She was Mary Jane Donaldson and daughter of a farmer in Tullylish.
I searched the British Newspaper Archive site for any mention of James Donaldson, whitesmith but did not find any articles that mentioned him.
