My Owen Callaghan my gggfather was born in Kerry about 1799. He married Roseanne Rogers and had three sons that I know of - John b1832, James b1834, and Owen b1836. This was an exceedingly small family for those times. Those named appeared in the 1851 GB Census and have an address in Gateshead, County Durham. Roseanna died in Gateshead shortly thereafter. while Owen died about 1860 in Gateshead. I would be pleased if anyone out there had any information on my ancestors, particularly where they were from.
