I have baptism records via Ancestry.uk.  Catholic parish register. Baptism date - 6.5.1832, baptism place - Milltown malbay, parish variants - kilfarby, Diocese - Killaloe.  I do hope this information helps.

That is very helpful information as it narrows down the parish to Kilfarboy which is the civil parish name and Miltown Malbay, the Catholic parish.  

Those parish registers are avilable as transcriptions online through the Clare Library.  I have looked at the transcription and I do see the record for Daniel.  Unfortunately, there were no baptismal sponsors noted, but the townland of Milford is a very good clue for you to look at further, and I also noted that further down another child from Milford was baptised and her sponsors were Daniel Grady and Margaret Grady.  These two may be connected to your Grady family and I would recommend that you look more closely at the registers for Grady families from Milford.

Hello Jane

Thank you for the link.  Unfortunately i'm struggling.  I can't seem to find any information on the townland of Milford.  I have found Daniel Grady in Carhukeal in 1826 and again in Caherhurly in 1827.  I have looked at the 1839 census and found the family of John Grady and Ellen Mckay but not Daniel Grady and Helen Moon.  I haven't been able to find any marriage records for Daniel Grady and Helen Moon either.  The more I look into it, the more questions I have, but it has been so interesting.  Myself and my brother are planing to take our Father over next year (should have been last month !).

If you have any further information, I would be so grateful.

Hi Dawn:  thanks to our wonderful librarian Peter at the Local Studies Centre here is some information about Milford for you. 
Milford House was an estate located in the townland of Carrowkeel, Kilfarboy. Hugh Weir has written a book about the houses of Clare and here is a library reference for it:  http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/places/townlands/carrowkeel_kilfarboy.htm

The surnames associated with this house were:  Comyn, Morony and O’Loghlen.  Another name recently mentioned is Ellis.  The census reference is here:  http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Clare/Miltownmalbay/

There was a local traditional music band known as the Milford Ceilí Band.  
As your  ancestors noted  Milford as their place of residence, they may have lived very close to the house.
