I am trying to locate geneology information going back from the marriage of Patrick Hughes (born abt. 1851) and Bridget Murphy (born abt. 1857) who were married on January 19, 1875 in Killeenadeema Parish, Clomfert Diocese, Loughrea County. I have found the marriage record in the Parish Register which states Patrick was 23 and lived in Kilgariff and his father was also Patrick Hughes. Bridget Murphy was 17 years old and lived in Bookeen at the time and her father was Thomas Murphy. I have information on the children of Patrick and Bridget if needed. Bridget migrated to the United States in late 1909 with some of the children and Patrick remained in Ireland. At the time of Bridget's death in March of 1931 in Buffalo, New York (United States), Patrick was believed to be living in some sort of nursing home or senior living facility in Lisheenaclora, Loughrea, Ireland.

The best source for baptismal records prior to 1864 would be a subscription site such as Roots Ireland. I located an 1857 baptismal record for a Bridget Murphy in Killeenadeema RC parish but the father was Patrick and not Thomas. I did locate another record in 1855 in Loughrea RC parish with a father named Thomas. Possibly this is your ancestor. The only Patrick Hughes baptismal record with father Patrick was in 1856 and further southwest in Peterswell RC parish. Likely this is not your record but I thought I would share.
Have you located a death record for Bridget and does it show her mother's maiden name?
Any info on siblings?
