Searching for information regarding John Keough (Keogh) and family. He was tried and convicted in Clare in 1831 then transported to Australia via Cork that same year.

.Hi Peter,
I have just seen your post today.
My great, great grandfather was John Keogh, transported to Australia in 1831 on board the "Asia". I have been looking for his family in County Clare with no luck. The earliest records I have been able to find are the newspaper accounts of his conviction with many others at the Ennis Assizes.
I would love to know moreover his past and share his descendant history with youChristine Cutler née Keogh
