Looking for information about my GGG uncle Michael Ryan and Mary (unsure of maiden name). Marriage details and any of their children's baptisms ideally.
Michael Ryan's baptism was on the 4th March 1822 in Cappawhite, Tipperary, Ireland (likely in Clonganhue). Parents of John Ryan and Bridget Bourke.
Michael's will which showed he died on 7 Aug 1868. His death record shows he died in Drumwood reported by Patrick Ryan of Drumwood.
It lists his wife Mary. Other people in the will: Thomas Crowe, Thomas Bourke, Edmond Crowe.

He had 22 acres in Clonpet. The land is still in his name in the Census data of 1871:
"Reps. of Michael Ryan, decd"
http://www.connorsgenealogy.com/tipp/1871CensusIndexClonpetCP.htm
Various land records show:
Clonpet lot 10:
Michael Ryan: 1863-1870
Rep Michael Ryan: 1870-79
John Quillinan (Johanna Quillinan husband): 1879-80
Johanna Quillinan (Michael Ryan's sister): 1880-81
Michael Ryan: 1881-Oct 1882
Edward Doherty: Oct 1882 +
Drumwood lot 15 (was 18, 20, 27, 28):
Michael Ryan: Jul 1848
Michael Ryan: 24 Jun 1851
Michael Ryan: 1847-1864
Drumwood lot 14 (was 15):
Michael Ryan (Michael): 1866 - Jul 1869
Mary Ryan (Michael) (Michael Ryan's wife): 1869-1871
Michael Ryan: 1871-1882?
Anne Ryan 1882? - 1893+
1871 census data for Drumwood shows "Mary Ryan (Michael)".

Michael Ryan's Ancestry profile:

Possible findings:
I found a baptism of Daniel Ryan whose parents are Michael Ryan and Maria (Mary) Cross. He was born 20 Jul 1858 in Drumwood. Sounds like it might be them but I can't find any more records (where is the marriage record?).

I found a Michael Ryan marrying Mary Croagh/Crowe from Clonganiff(Clonganhue). Thomas Crowe and Edmond Crowe were helping with his will. This is also a likely match.
But I haven't found any baptism records around the Solohead/Cappawhite/Tipperary areas of where they would have lived (Drumwood/Clonpet). Also, he would have been very young.

Drumwood lot 15 was originally split into multiple lots and it looks like Michael rented 18 and 27 at first. These two lots were likely owned by a Michael Ryan and a Patrick Ryan in the Tithe Applotment Book. Which could mean Mary was a Ryan as it was the husbands that moved. But Michael Ryan could have been Michael Ryan's (Michael) grandfather.
There was another Michael Ryan (maybe a son?) that leased Drumwood and Clonpet after Michael Ryan died. But the Ryan nickname was crossed out in the land records.
There are other records of Michael's marrying Mary but the baptisms of their children show they don't live in the right areas or the naming pattern doesn't seem to match.
Hopefully, someone can see something that I've missed.

My current theory:
Following the land records, I found that Michael Ryan takes over Michael Ryan (Michael)’s lot 14 of Drumwood after Mary. This was the case until around 1882, at which point Anne Ryan took over the land. We can piece together that this is likely Michael Ryan’s (b. 1822) son’s family.
On the 27th February 1870, Michael Ryan married Anne Meagher (b. ~1837) at Solohead Parish. Witnesses: John Reilly and Margareta (Margaret) Maher.
Four children have been found:- 18th Aug 1872 Mary Ryan. Drumwood, Solohead Parish. Sponsors: William Ryan and Margaret Maher.
- 6th Jan 1874 Anne Ryan. Drumwood, Solohead Parish. Sponsors: Daniel Meagher and Mary Quirke.
- 31st Aug 1875 Michael Ryan. Drumwood, Solohead Parish. Sponsors: William Meagher and Bridget Reily.
- 27th Sep 1880 Daniel Ryan. Clonpet, Tipperary Parish. Sponsors: Timothy Quillinan and Bridget Maher.
Unfortunately no civil marriage record has been found, which likely would have helped solve this mystery. With children being born at Drumwood and Clonpet, this makes it very likely we have the right family. Using this information, a possible match for Michael Ryan (b. 1822) might be:
On the 6th September of 1840 Michael Ryan married Mary Brien from Ballykeevin, at Cappawhite Parish. Witnesses: Edmond Moan, Ann Brien and Patrick Moan.
-
17 Jan 1845 Michael Ryan. Knockvela, Solohead Parish. Sponsor: Margareta (Margaret) Doherty.
Both Knockvela and Ballykeevin are beside Drumwood.
Facts for:- Both dates and locations match.
- Mary Brien, an aunt to Bridget Ryan (b. 1868); was a sponsor to Bridget (born at Drumwood).
- Michael Ryan (b. 1822) was a sponsor for his nephew Timothy Quillinan. Timothy is the sponsor to Daniel Ryan.
Facts against (not enough to disprove it):
- There is a third Michael Ryan living in Drumwood who married Mary Reelly/Reily in 1828. They had a child called Michael, also in 1845.
- Michael Ryan (b. 1875) had a sponsor with the Reelly/Reily surname. The Michael Ryan / Anne Meagher wedding had a witness who had the Reelly/Reily surname.
