Hi everyone,

I am trying to find any information relating to this elusive family member of mine named Ann Connors. As Connors is a fairly common name I don't know where to start apart from searching where she would have grown up.

I have no marriage certificate, I don't know what year or on what ship she migrated to Australia, I only know when she died which is quite sad as the land on which she was buried is now part of our great rail system. She died in a home for deserted wives & children and was most probably buried on the land behind this building, She had 3 children with her at this time; Alice b.1857, Sarah b.1859 & James b.1861 which I have found on our historical birth records here in New South Wales. Ann was only 31 years old when she died.

I have searched many resources here in Australia including the immigration records but there are so many Ann Connors.and on her death certificate it only listed Clare, Ireland as her birthplace.

If anyone can help me with another place to try looking for her I would be very grateful, her part of the family tree has no branches.
