Hello from New York, USA.
Using John Grenham's cross surname list, this parish appeared as a possible place where my g-g-grandparents began.
Thomas O'Dea (born approx 1826 from James and Mary) and Catherine Houlihan (born approx 1840 from Michael and Nora) immigrated from County Clare. Not sure where or when......so the information I have is from their death certificates in NY.
I would appreciate ideas for where on line I might continue searching for them in this parish (and others in Clare).
Thank you!
Ann Marie Lynch
(and Lynch is another brick wall for me.......guess you know how many John Lynch's there have been in history! Each ship from Ireland was full of John Lynch's!).

Dear Ann-Marie:
Thank you for your post to the message board. The Kilmihil parish registers are online through the Community website. That link is below. http://www.kilmihil-community.com/. In addition, you might have a look at the Clare Library website which has a number of online sources. http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/genealogy/genealog.htm.
If you have any questions, please let me know at jhalloranryan@irelandxo.com.
