Rockite Rebellion 1822 - Murphy connection

Looking for any information on the following family:

Denis Murphy married Maria Cronin in Newcastle West 1829. .

Chldren of Denis and Maria all baptized in Newcastle West:

  Daniel P 1831-1893 (death on Chicago and lists Loghill as birthplace in obit), John 1833, Patrick 1838 (lived eventually in Mound City, Pulaski County IL USA), Mary 1836, Ellen 1839, Margaret 1842, Michael 1844 (married Margaret Enright and emigrated to Australia), Elizabeth 1847, Eames or James 1852, Denis 1855.

In addition, I have found a summary of Rockite Rebellion in Feb 1822 and trial in Apr 1822. 51 men arrested and tried with some sent to Austrialia. Among those listed as arrested were a Denis Murphy, John Enright, and Michael Hanrahan. I think maybe this Denis Murphy is my Denis Murphy? John Enright might be the father of Margaret Enright, wife of Denis' son Michael?  Michael Murphy and Margaret Enright Murphy emigrated to Austrialia and were headed to meet Michael Hanrahan (per Friends Searching in Boston Pilot).

Seems like a lot of cross over coincidences...does anyone have a better understanding of this family or their connection to the rockite Rebellion in 1822?

I did post this last month to Newcastle West but got no response as of yet.

I am visiting Ireland for first time in June and would love to know of the connections to the area or if any of this family is still in Loghill or Newcastle West area.
