My 2x great grandfather John Taylor married Rachel Sleith.
As a young man my father visited the family home at Tullyherron and found a very old family bible.I was wondering if there were any Patton's , Taylor's or Sleith's still living there who might know the whereabouts of this bible.

Hi Liz,
You might already have this, but here is the marriage cert for John Taylor and Rachel Sleith:

I assume this is your Sleith/Sleeth family in Tullyherron in 1901:

1911 with Taylor and Sleeth families there:

There appears to have been a Sleeth still farming there in 1948.
Probate abstract from the PRONI wills site:
Sleeth Thomas of Tullyherron Mountnorris county Armagh retired farmer died 25 August 1948 Probate Belfast 2 December to Maud Stevenson widow. Effects £990.
There are also some Sleeths listed in the general area (postcode BT60) in the modern on-line phone book but they appear to be ex-directory.

Liz did you have any success with the bible.
John Taylor and Rachel Seith were also my 2x great grandparents.
