Thomas Henry O'Connor

I searched the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie and the subscription site Roots Ireland and did not find a Thomas O'Connor baptismal record around 1820 with father James O'Connor. I also did not locate a Thomas O'Connor/Mary Whelan marriage record so likely they were married in America.

Do you have any other info on the family--siblings, mother's maiden name etc?

Hi Roger! Here's what info I have. Thomas Henry O"Connor born Abt 1824 in Ireland. I believe Killarney Kerry County. Died November 24, 1896 was married to a Mary Whelan born est 1934. Their son James Joseph O'Connor was married to Rose Mulholland. They lived in Grafton Ohio and Ogden Utah.

There were five Thomas Connor baptismal records in the 1820s in Killarney RC parish. None showed a father James.

8 keep finding different info. There's a site that states he was born in 1915 and his parents were Daniel O'Connor and Hannah.

I searched www.irishgenealogy.ie and there were three or four Thomas Connor baptismal records in Killarney church with father Daniel. None had a mother Hannah and no 1815 records.

Sorry. I believe I found the wrong info. Here's the info i have about his son James Joseph O'Connor that are true then maybe you can help me climb the ladder to his father Thomas Henry O'Connor.
James Joseph O'Connor b 1863 in Lorain, Grafton, Ohio. Married Rose Mulholland. Their children were May ,Theresa, James E. ,Henry F., Rosalie, Raymond Morris, Louise, Edmund and William. Maybe with any luck you can help me find the right Thomas Henry O'Connor. Thank you again for all of your help. Oh and Thomas married a Mary Wheelan.

The James info does not help because James was born in Ohio.

I searched for a Thomas O'Connor/Connor marriage in Co. Kerry to a Wheelan/Whelan and did not find a record. Likely they married in America.

Yes I do believe they were married in America. Thomas Henry O'Connor was married to a Mary Wheelan (Whelan). I heard he was born in Killarney Kerry Ireland. One site stated he was born 1815 died November 24, 1893 in Ohio. But this one's parents are named Daniel O'Connor and Hannah Sheehan. I'm so confused.

Thomas and Mary O'Connors children were Anna b
1856, Mary E. b 1861, James b 1863, Terissa b 1868 and John F. b 1869 8nbtge 1880 us census. I hope this helps and sorry for the confusion.

I apologize for the wasted time and confusion. My great grandfather was born in Killarney. His name was Thomas Henry O'Connor. I know his wife was Mary Wheelan or Whelan. He had a child James Joseph O'Connor that lived in Ohio and his wife was Rose Mulholland.
