Dear KIRaistrick:
Thank you for your post to the Ireland Reaching Out message board and welcome to the site.
The years that you are looking for may not be available as many parish registers did not begin before 1830 or so. However, there are some and hopefully one of those may be your ancestor's parish.
You should check out the Clare Library website if you have not already done so. Their online resources are fantastic and they are adding to their site all the time.
In looking at the Tithe Applotment Books for James Bourke, there are several entries:
The parishes noted are Doora, Ogonnelloe, and St. Patrick's South (Limerick City and the Rhebogue section).
It may be worthwhile looking at those parish registers. We have volunteers in Doora and Ogonnelloe who may be able to assist and I will copy this post to them for their reference.
I have checked the records in St. Patrick's parish through the Roots Ireland database, but have not found any reference to this family and the children's baptisms.
If you have any further information--even as to where or how you believe that William Bourke was born in County Clare, please add it to this thread.
The very best of luck with your research.
You might also consider creating an Ancestor Profile for any or all members of this family under the XO Chronicles feature which is located at the top of the page. These profiles are often very helpful to all our members as many times, others are researching the same family. If you need any assistance with doing so, please email me at: jhalloranryan@irelandxo.com.
Best wishes,
Jane.

Hi, According to http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/genealogy/tithe_applot/name_in… there were 3 James Bourkes with farms in Co. Clare circa 1830. The one most likely to match yours is James in Rebouge townland, St. Patrick's Parish in the Clare suburbs of Limerick City. There is a Ryan family living in the same townland.
