I'm looking for any information about the Bennetts in Ballard, Killevy. Around 1840 my Denis Bennett went to Liverpool. He and his wife Hannah Hanlon were Catholics and had children baptised in Lower Killeavy. I believe they may have connections to the Bennett families of Ballard.
A number of Bennetts leased land in Ballard - Anthony, Bryan, Henry, John, Patrick, Peter and Terence.

The Lower Killevy baptism records only start in 1835 so I can’t see any obvious way of analyzing a connection between the Ballard families and yours via church records. Perhaps DNA testing is the only way to see if there’s a connection.
I don’t see any Bennetts in todays Ballard Rd in the current phone book (BT35) but there are some living quite nearby. You might want to contact them to see if they can assist.
