William Jordan was a farmer Born about 1810+- Children were Baptised RC Killevy from 1830- 1845.Children mostly moved to UK. Durham area. His Son John Jordan went to Australia 1863 Gold mining ,became a successful farmer, Died 1919.Having trouble locating his parents in the Armagh/ Down area. Marriage/burials/where they actually lived etc or were these records ever kept?

The RC parish records for Lower Killevy start in 1835 and for Upper Killevy in 1835. There were no records kept before those dates. (That’s quite common. Though there are RC parishes in some parts of Ireland that go back to the late 1600s, many parishes in Ulster didn’t start keep records till the 1820s and 1830s. Sometimes later.). Sadly the RC parishes don't generally keep burial records either.
