I am searching for birth andmarriage records of my great grand-parents. They left Ireland and settled in New Monkland, Scotland where they had 5 children before immigrating to United States.
Birth records of children indicate Owen testified he and Rose Ellen Curtis were married in the years 1857 or 1858 in Agven, Tartaraghan, Armagh, Ireland. Naturalization records in Summit County, Ohio indicate they arrived IN US in July. 1867.
Since they and their children attended St. Vincent's Catholic Chuch and they are buried in cemetery of same name next to the churh, I am ceratin they were Catholic.
I would be appreciative of any information you may be able to provide .. I have not found any records confirming when and how they Arrived in United States.

I couldn't find a marriage record on rootsireland but I notice you have Owen's birth year as 1842 on your tree. The closest birth / baptism record for that on roots is 1842 but there are 6 others 1841 + - 10 years. All 7 are from Upper Creggan & all are R C.
There are 73 Heartys in Armagh in the Tithe Applotments in 1827 all in Creggan
