I am looking for information on my ancestors, Benjamin Nesbitt (b. 1805, d. 1881), his wife, Mary Allison (b. 1804, d. 1880), and their four sons, Richard W. (b. 1832), James (b. 1836), William (b. 1840), and Samuel (b. 1848), who emigrated to North America in the 1800's.

Judy:
The 1856 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing showed that the Nesbitt family lived in Glasdrumman townland.See link below. I also found the civil death index records for Benjamin and Mary. You get copies of these records from the General Register Office for around 4 euros each. if you want to get copies let me know and I will forward instuctions.

Hi Judy, The Nesbitt Family as stated above were raised in the townland of Glasdrumman, Corraneary, Cootehill. The last of the family who lived there was Edwin Nesbitt, he was unmarried and died some years ago. The house and farm is now owned by his nephew. Edwin attended Corraneary Presbyterian Church but previous generations attended Knockbride Church of Ireland.
The Nesbitt Family in the 1901 Census:
