The Clare Library website is a great resource tool for any genealogical research for County Clare.  If you go online and have a look here at the Griffith's Valuation, you will see that there are several Dunn(e) families and this might be a good place to start in order to eliminate some of those names.

In addition, the Tithe Applotment Books may be of some use to you:
