Thomas REEDY was born in Ennis, Clare, around 1857, the son of John REEDY a farmer and mother Bridget, surname unknown.
Thomas came to New Zealand and married in 1891 giving the above information on his marriage certificate in 1891 when he was 34 years old.
I have found a John Reedy in Derrynaveagh Clonlea in 1855 Griffiths Valuation.
I have found a death of a Bridget REEDY in 1903 in Ennis but any help greatly received.

Records for the RC parish of Ennis begin in 1841 for baptisms and 1837 for marriages. I have had a look on rootsireland.ie but cannot see any baptism records for any children born in Ireland or Clare to a father John and a mother Bridget. Could I ask how you know your ancestor was from Ennis?
