Michael Minogue (b. abt 1820 ) married Catherine Moroney, also from Feakle. Their childre were Johanna, Catherine, Mary, Michael, Ellen, John, Margaret and Honoria. Michael's parents were William and Johannah. Catherine Morony's parents were John and Catherine Canavan.
Some of the family immigrated to Australia in 1864, the rest around 1878, I think.
Looking for any information...

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
We do not have a parish liaison in Feakle parish but do have a parish liaison in a nearby parish. I will send an e-mail to alert her to your message.

Hi:
Many thanks for your query to Ireland Reaching Out.
You may be aware that the Clare Library has all of the Feakle parish baptism registers (Feakle Lower) transcribed through their genealogy and history section. You may find more information there. The link is: http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/genealogy/don_tran/bmd/baptism…. If you are looking for local cousins, I can make enquiries and forward you information. If this is what you would like to know, please email me at: tulla@irelandxo.com.
All the best,
Jane.

Hello Kerry!
I think I may be able to help you. Myself and a few other people have begun working on the Minogue trees from the Feakle/Scariff area. We met via Ancestry and DNA and have been sharing information. We are always happy to find new people to add to the research! It is possible that your ancestor is already on one of the trees, as that particular tree I am thinking of is owned by a Morony/Moloney descendant as well. Email me at mzep824 at gmail dot com and we'll see if we can help you. My 2x great grandmother was Ellen Minogue from Dromore.
