I am seeking information about Moores Hotel in Particular John W Moore as I think he may have been my GGgrandfathers brother. I believe that he and his family also had Moores hotel in William St Limerick until 1867.

Dear Laurie
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. Have you had a look on Find My Past to see if there is any mention in their commercial directories or indeed in the Irish Newspaper Archives?

My name is Michele Moore Smith and I just joined. My great grandfather was Thomas Moore from Kilkee. He came to US in 1872 and settled in Brooklyn. His wife was Mary Cox who was also from Kilkee. The family story that was told was as follows. Thomas's family owned Moores Hotel in Kilkee. Thought research we have proved that his father was David Moore and mother Elizabeth Williams and that David's father was Thomas. My sister and I plan to be in Kilkee this month to do some research and we would like to touch base with anyone who has info on the Moore/Cox family.
