Hello, my GGG grandfather, Patrick Meer/Meere/Myer of Ballyleaan shows up in Griffith's Valuation in 1855. His daughter, Marie Meere was born in 1854.
I do not have a wife's name for him. I suspect he may have been widowed and remarried but have no evidence of this. I have been unable to locate either marriage or death dates for him. With children being born in 1854 I suspect a marriage year between 1845-1854.. I am speculating his birth year around 1825-1835.
I checked the transcription records for Kildysert Cemetery and did not find him.
Can you help? My email address has changed. It is now bethwalsh9@ outlook.com
Thank you.

Hi Beth:
Thanks for your query to the Ireland Reaching Out message board.
Did you check the parish records for Killadysart? I know that the marriage register doesn't start until 1867, but the baptisms start in 1829 and there may be an entry.

The Clare Library may have transcriptions done which are not yet online. You should also contact them via email to see if they have further records:
There are several Meere families in the 1901 Census in Kildysart:

In addition, you might try looking through the Civil records to see if you can find a death for either Patrick at Irish genealogy.
Their website is: https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp
If you have any further questions, please let me know. You can email me at: jhalloranryan@irelandxo.com.
The best of luck!
