I am from the Irish Diaspora nee MCMAHON and I am seeking any informations or possible connections for my ancestors who arrived in Sydney 1840.
They were Denis Mcmahon b @ 188/19 "native" of Kilrush and his wife Bridget Cahill b @1822/23 "native" of Kilrush.
Denis' parents were Denis and Honorah and Bridget's parents were John and Nell.
Any information or guidance would be a help.

thankyou for your reply. I am still seeking any information on a Den(n)is McMahon b1818-1820 and his wife Bridget Cahill.So thankyou for your inks. I have found through rootsireland.com.ire a Denis Mc,Mahon b 1820 Cratloe. Until further records are available from Clare I cannot completely rule out the Kilruch connection, so I will continue to research. Once again thanks for your suggestions.
