I am looking for any information on the families of:
Ellen Howard born around 1826 in Clare-emigrated to NY before 1865
Margaret Howard born around 1844 in Clare-emigrated to NY in 1863
They were Roman Catholic.

Milltown Malbay is in Kilfarvoy civil parish. Below is the 1855 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Kilfarboy parish. There were 11 Howard entries. Not sure how any of the names relate to Ellen and Margaret. http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/clare/kilfarboy.htm
RC records for Milltown Malbay parish go back to 1831 for baptisms and 1856 for marriages. You would need to contact the parish to see what records are available for Ellen and Margaret.
