I am searching for information of the parents of John Francis Harrington and his birth. I believe his mother's name was Margaret and I don't know his father's name.but believe he is connected to Ducheen, Glengarriff, West Cork, Cork.
Birth DEC 1879 • Castletownbere, Cork, Ireland. Some believe it may have actually been in 1885 but I believe the 1879 time frame is correct.
Death ABT 1942 • Medford, Massachusetts, USA or Ireland.
John Francis Harrington immigrated to the US in about 1900
He married Annie Mary Blake on 20 Oct 1908 • Malden, Middlesex, Massachusetts, USA.
This is all of the information I have on John in Ireland. I don't know if I've given enough for you to research.

I checked Free site www.irishgenealogy.ie for Glengarriff and Bantry for a John Harrington born 1875 1885.
There are two records with a father - Daniel and a father - John in the Glengarriff Registrars District.
Neither had a wife named Margaret
In Bantry there is a birth of a John Harrington to Daniel Harrington and Margaret Downing for August 30th 1884.
Daniel is described as a stone mason.
Subscription site www.findmypast.ie has a record of a marriage in Cambridge, Boston of a John Harrington to a Catherine Sullivan - August 1908.
Both born in Ireland.
No record found for Malden.
Perhaps you would get details of the marriage, which should show parents names.

I haven't been able to get a copy of the actual marriage document yet. I will continue to work on that.
The Margaret Downing and Daniel Harrington parentage seems promising. I will pursue that also.
