GGF Joseph Mcglone

I checked Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie and located an 1858 baptismal record for a Joseph McGlone with father Joseph and mother Mary Quinn. The record was in the Clonoe RC church records. Clonoe parish borders Donaghhenry parish to the southeast.

There were no Joseph McGlone baptismal records on Roots for the period 1859-1865.

Roots is a pay site to view transcriptions of church records. They now require that you obtain a subscription to their services.

I looked at the 1859 Griffiths Valuation head of household listings for both parishes and the only McGlone I located was a Patrick McGlone in Meenagh townland in Clonoe parish.

Thank you so much!  I had just been on rootsireland today looking. I had the wrong birth date.  Joseph McGlone has been the one family member in my family tree that has been hard to trackdown.
