I would like to find outabout my Great Grandfather's residence in Dalkey, he was the Harbour Policeman after leaving the Royal Navy and my Great Grandmother was a Reilly from Wicklow, My Mothers Mother was another Reilly born in Dalkey, She was Esther Reilly, widowed by John Farrell with three children and married and widowed again by Christopher Frazer again with three children. I only have one photo of My Great Aunt Susannah Frazer who married a Mr Knight (a widower) quite late in life.
My mother was Esther Frances Frazer, Her elder full sister was christened Mary Josephine Frazer , but always known as Josephine, she married a James Mooney. Her elder brother was Edward Frazer, I can't find any information about him at all!

Emer:
Could you provide the names of your great-grandparents and were they in Dalkey in 1901? Thanks!

Yes my Great Grandfather was Edward Joseph Frazer, his wife was Mary nee Reilly
They had nine children, some were born in England (on the Isle of Sheppey as he was a quartermaster in the Royal Navy) and I have managed to find the information for them on census and birth records.
But I can't find any information on their lives in Dalkey. I know where they lived in Tullermore Avenue.
My mother and her brother and sister were raised by their Aunts and Grandparents, as her mother died when she was 3 in 1919 (in childbirth, so she had obviously met someone else, 'a bit of a goer', my Grandma!) and her father was killed in February 1917 in France in WW1, so she was only 6months old at that stage.
Hope this helps
When I was over last time, someone mentioned they knew a Miss Frazer who didn't know her Father, so I am assuming that may have been one of my great aunts children or maybe an Aunt? Any information would be gratefully received.
Thank you

Based on the information you provided, I don't think I can be of much assistance. I did find the family in the 1901 and 1911 censuses but from your note, it appears that you reviewed these records before. I've included the links below. In 1901, they were on Crofton Road. Six children were listed. As you indicated in 1911 they were on Tubbermore Ave. in Dalkey. Seven children listed. I live in the States so I can't help beyond 1911 other than finding birth, marriage or death index records.

Hi Emer, I found a death cert for a Mary Frazer of Tubbermore Avenue in 1925. Wife of a Naval Officer. I have attached it, perhaps this is something to do with the family. (You may already have it, but I thought I'd send it anyway.
I also found Mary Josephine's birth cert - in 1911 and the address on the cert is St Patrick's Avenue, Dalkey, Jane Reilly is present at the birth.
I then looked for Edward Frazer and found his birth and your Grandfather's Death cert. I have attached them also.
Regards, Maria (Killiney, Dublin)
