One of my great great grandmothers was Honora Rohan whose family was from Deelis on the Dingle peninsula. As near as I can determine, Nora's parents were Timothy Rohan and Johanna Moore who married in Castlegregory on February 22,1846. Nora appears to have been an only child. She was baptized in Castlegregory on July 31, 1848.

Nora as she was called married my great great grandfather Michael Crean from Koundeeha(sp?) in 1867 in Castlegregory. Together they had at least seven children;

Patrick, Mary, Johanna, Honora, Catherine, Honora( a second one) and John. So far as I know to date, Mary, the second Honora( my great grandmother), Catherine and John emigrated. I still don't know what happened to Patrick, Johanna or the first Honora although in her case, I suspect that she died young.

Not sure when this happened but between 1879 and 1881, Michael Crean died. In February of 1882, Nora married Thomas Donoghue(Donohoe, ODonohoe).At least three children were born from the second marriage; Jeremiah, Ellen and Michael.

In the 1901 census the family listed as Donohoe was living in Deelis and included Thomas, Nora, Ellen, Michael and John Crean, Nora's son from her first marriage. Jeremiah was not around and MAY have died.

In the 1911 census, the family was still in Deelis and Thomas, Nora, Michael and Joseph Crean, Nora's grandson. No indication of Ellen who MAY have married between 1901 and 1911 nor of John Crean who may have traveled back to the US. I know that he died there in 1915.

So, I'd like to know IF Ellen Donohoe married; I'd like to know what happened to Joseph Crean and I'd like to know when and where Nora Rohan Crean Donohoe died and where she is buried?

Any help is appreciated.
