Looking for any Hopkins family that is related to Daniel Martin Hopkins - (1686 - ). I believe his parent where William Hopkins and Mary Whitehead. I believe this Hopkins family came from England to Ireland. Some stayed and Daniel Martin Hopkins came to the Untied States. I hope to find a family still in Ireland perhaps whose family tree ties back to the parents of Daniel Martin Hopkins. thank you

There are over 300 public member trees for this family on Ancestry. It is likely one of the posters is a descendant of Daniel Martin Hopkins. Good luck!

Thank you for your comments. Very much appreciated. I have several DNA tests on ancestry. I have also tested on Family Tree DNA - 700 big test. Also have a test on 23&Me. Although the 700 test yielded a match to others from the Daniel Martin Hopkins line - I am still struggling with how my James Hopkins (1845-1906) connects to this Hopkins line. James Hopkins shows up in the 1880 Belmont County Census married with children for the first time. Hoping to find others with perhaps information on Daniel Martin Hopkins siblings that my connect somehow.
