Hello
I,ve traced my ancestry back to Drummonaghan, Derryvullen, Fermanagh in 1780's but apparently the townland has disappeared. I believe it rests inside Castle Archdale property. The McGuire's and McDermot's emigrated to Wilmington, Delaware in the early 1800's and worked for E.I. Dupont making gunpowder at the Hagley Yard.. I was wondering if there was anyone in Ireland with information on this period in history as to why they would have left. They were Catholics and I know they were tenant farmers. Thanks in advance for any info.
