I am hoping to find further information on my ancestor Charles McKeegan whose wife was Mary Browning. He was born approximately 1786 in Fermanagh and is listed in 1826 as being Roman Catholic and the schoolmaster in Ratona, Clogher, Rossory, Magheraboy and Glenawly. His children were Bernard, Elizabeth, Mary, Jane, William, Ann, Sophia, Eliza, Sarah, Susan, and James. Bernard was born in 1812 and James was born in 1843 (all in Ireland). The family emigrated to Philadelphia before 1860, with Ann, Sophia and Susan emigrating in 1845 and William and Elizabeth in 1855. Thank you for any help.
We are also hoping to visit the area (the good Lord willing and the virus don't rise) in May 2022.

Thank you very much for this. By following this lead, I found that this person died in 1830, but it was worth the chase.

Hello Chriv
I suggest having a look at the Fermanagh genealogy group. A great resources that links to a variety of free and fee based sites. It includes valuable links to emigration records and some of the earlier records that link to the eighteenth century.
