Hello. my name is John Dooley I live in the United States just outside of Boston Massachusetts, I understand that my Great Great Grandfather Patrick Dooley (Dooly) may have moved from West Meath to Galway in early 1800's he married to Mary Lynch and he had a daughter Bridget, a son John who was my Great Grandfather another son Michael another daughter Margaret and a son Thomas... I wish to know where in Galway they may have lived I would also wish to know whether any other members of Patrick's family had also traveled from West Meath to Galway,,, I am planning to visit Ireland once again in July 2016 and Galway is on the itenerary to visit.. If and how can I contact any known relatives... Patrick and his wife and children have come here to Boston about 1850.. John Dooley who was my Great grandfather was 18 years of age when he left Galway Ireland... I believe it was because of the famine. Also there was an association with a family known as Fallan who were from the parish of Roscommon Kildare .. Any help would be greatly appreciated..
