Timothy born approx. 1835
Patrick born approx. 1840
Thomas born approx. 1843
John Meehan (my great grandfather) born approx. 1845
Their father may have been Patrick.

Unfortunately, the records for Addergoole/Liskeevy/Milltown parish do not start until 1858 http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/1036 No baptismal records would be available for the Meehan brothers. Did they stay in Ireland or emigrate?

Hello Roger,
They emigrated to San Francisco. I found them in the 1870 US Census.
My great grandfather John Meehan ended up as a silver miner in the Arizona Territory
Where my grandmother was born.

Certainly the second sons name follows Irish tradition. The fathers name if followed would be Patrick...
