Greetings

Hi All,  My name is Rick Haverty.  My Great Grandparents lived at Castle Ellen in Athenry in the late 1800's.  Patrick J Haverty and Maraget Josephne Kelly.  The Lambert family were the owners and as I understand it help my Great Grandparents with their passage to USA (Waltham, Massacusetts) where the namesake St. Mary's Parish is.  My G-G-Grandmother Mary (Henihan) Haverty also travelled with them in 1887.  Several of my Greatgrandfaqther's sisters preceded them starting around 1860.  A number of familes from Athenry settled in Waltham.  I believe the family names of Burke, Kelly, Ruane, Pollock, Lamb, Moran, Gorman, and others may be among them.  I have been collecting family history for about 20 years now and paid a visit to Athenry in 2004.  I didn't find much in the way of family history there but found a wonderful spot in Ireland.
