Higgins

My father Patrick Higgins was from Kilbeg, Monivea, Athenry in County Galway. His father also Patrick Higgins was a small farmer. His wife was called Kitty McHugh. She had worked in Galway post office prior to her marriage. They had 6 boys and 3 girls, My dad came to the U.K. As a Bevan boy in about 1947 where he met and married my mother. I am trying to find out any information about my grandparents. My grandfather died when my father was still quite young, my father and two of his brothers were sent to Saint Joseph's catholic school and Salthill catholic school in 1931. Any help would be appreciated.
