I found my great grandmother, Mary Rooney, on the 1821 Census of Ireland, who at the age of 1, was living in house 5 Nicholroe Gate, Moan Bawn, Athenry. Can anyone give me more information about this family? She later married Patrick Naughton from Ballynanulty. Any help appreciated. Thank you

I just saw this post and it intrigued me.
I have a Joseph Connor b 1894? d 1971 his father was Patrick Connor d 1936 married to Bridgid McGann d 1923. Patrick's father was also Patrick and married to ? Nochton.
Joseph's daughter, Bernadette, is still living at the homestead of Tiaquinn, Derrough, Colemanstown, Balinasloe. Her siblings were Molly b 1927 d 1989, Paddy b 1927 d 1992, Don (James) b 1928 d 1991, Eileen b? d 11-Mar-2008 at Derrough, Alfonse, Margaret (Bridie) and John (Jackie) b 1944 d 2009 in London, England
Could there be a connection between your Naughton's and my Nochton's?
