Seeking information relative to Ceila Kelly who married Darby Finnerty Feb. 9, 1869 in Loughrea Parish. Ceila died about Dec 1932 in Loughrea. Ceila and Darby were the parents of John Finnerty born May 1, 1870, Mary Finnerty born Mar 19, 1872 Patrick Finnerty born Jul 2 1874, James Finnerty born Nov 17, 1876, Michael Finnerty born Sep 1, 1879, Timothy Finnerty born Apr 5, 1885 and an unknown child. I have found them in the 1901 and 1911 census in Bullaun. Specifically I am trying to find out who Ceila's parents were. I believe her father was Pat Kelly but I have not been able to find out her mother's name.

Thank you Col. Unfortunately this information does not confirm what I had hoped it would. My great grandmother Mary J Kelly (born 1847-1851) had a family bible with a notation indicating her mother passed 12/24/1887. Mary's Massachusetts marriage record shows her parents as Patrick and Margaret. Mary's Massachusetts death record shows her parents as Patrick Kelly and Margaret Coleman. Mary's obituary indicates she left 3 sisters in Ireland. My cousin hired a professional geanologist in 1998 who found the death of 1 Margaret Kelly who died December 24, 1887. This Margaret had a husband Patrick Kelly and lived in Bullaun. WIth her at the time of her death was her granddaughter Mary Finerty. Margaret's husband Patrick died January 26, 1883 in Bullaun. Darby Finnerty was the informant. I do know Darby married a Celia Kelly and they had a daughter Mary, so naturally I was hoping Celia's mother would be Margaret Coleman or Callan. Not the conclusive documentation I was hoping for.
Thanks,
Alice
