Looking for help before I get to Ireland Sept 17-27.

John Brosan and Mary Roche were married Castleisland, Kerry 23 Feb. 1830. Son Michael born 2 Jan 1835 Athea, Limerick (witnesses James Woulfe and Hanora Roche). He married (around 1850?) Bridget Mulvihill, born 1 Jan 1835, to Michael Mulvihill and Margaret Heffernan (sponsors Patrick Liston and Bridget Heffernan). Michael and Bridget had 11 children between 1859 and 1881, alternating between Athea, Limerick and Tarbert, Kerry. Immigrated in 1883, through Quebec, to Connecticut, and then settling in Buffalo, NY, where they are all buried, name Bresnahan.

Daughter, Bridget Delia Brosnahan, born 8 May 1867, Tarbert, Kerry. My great grandmother.

Any help with this would be great. Coming to visit, and will be in Athea/Tarbert on Sept. 24th. Would like to visit graves of John and Mary Brosnan, and Michael and Margaret Mulvihill, and see if any relations are still in the area.

    Did you leave a query in the Athea and Tarbert parish boards as locals there might have information on graves in those areas? I will try to look into the Castleisland side of things for you. Do you have any more information on that end eg. a townland, names of siblings, parents??
