Interested to communicate with anyone who has researched the short list of individuals from the 1824 Pigots Directory for Dingle. If you have further details or know how to gain more details on any given individual(s) and their residence or business eneterprise, etc., for that time period.
The directory refers to Dingle in the form of the whole penisula of "20 parishes". Do they propose by that to mean that the page entry represents the whole of the peninsula of "20 parishes", Dingle civil parish, or just Dingle town? And if so, why didn't they record the other towns, parishes, or people on the peninsula?
Does anyone know who the local historian is for Dingle, and particulary regards 1824. We have contacted the town Library, and also in Tralee, who have been most kind, but whose area of expertise may be in other topics.
Is there a genealogist historian student or volunteer who specializes in Dingle circa 1824 (locally based or otherwise)? Is there anyone else who would be familiar with resident dwellings sources, parishoners, newspapers, community writings, journalists, socialites, or village chatter from that time period?
Thank you.

Are you writing an article on this period of time?
Best of luck with your research.
