Michael Dillon b 1813 married Mary Kennedy (b?) approximately 1838 - family records indicate they lived in Dingle but no specific dates. Would like to find a marriage record for more info about Mary.
Michael's father was David Dillon and his mother Nancy Dunn - I'd like to find a birth or baptismal record
Michael and Mary had three children - Cornelius b 1840, David b 1842 and Johanna b 1845 -I don't have proof of these dates so need birth records.... The family emigrated to the US in 1848 to Holyoke, MA, where Mary died. Michael remarried Catherine Klin Kinney and they moved to Ross County, Ohio.
The family story holds that Michael had brothers - Cornelius, Jerry and Tom - I've no proof of this or knowlege of what became of them.

Could you please post your message on the parish profile page of Dingle here: http://www.irelandxo.com/group/dingle-kerry
I'm afraid that baptismal records for Dingle only exist from 1825. Thereis a book that might be of interest to you. It's by Michael O'Connor and is called A Guide to Tracing your Kerry Ancestors, Dublin: Flyleaf Press, 1994.
Hopefully someone in the local community will be able to find out more information for you. Perhaps you could try writing to the parish priest to see if they have more information, such as graveyard information, etc.
