There are 3 baptism records for Dennis Broderick in Kerry on www.irishgenealogy.ie/ ( a free site)
None is 1848 however and all are DENIS They are 1852 Milltown 1854 Firies & 1856 Milltown none of which are in Duagh
There is one in Duagh but it is 1859
