Looking for my great grandparents marriage info. Mary Moriarty from Droum, Glenbeigh married Patrick Murphy from Glenbeigh in the range of 1903 to 1905. Mu grandfather, Patrick Murphy, was born in Sept. 1905. We know nothing of Granddad's father but his mother Mary Moriarty remarried John Cleary of Tralee around 1907. We assume The older Patrick Murphy must have been deceased if Mary was allowed to remarry but we know nothing about him.Mary did not take my granddad with her when she remarried. He was raised by his aunts/uncles in Droum, Glenbeigh. Would love to find out anything we can about the older Patrick and what may may have happened to him.

A check of civil records and subscription records - www.rootsireland.ie and www.findmypast.ie proved negative for the marriage of Patrick Murphy to Mary Moriarty. Birth record not found for Patrick, Junior.
A check of the 1901 Irish census has a record of a Mary Moriarty aged 18 years residing with grandparents John J. Connor and Ellen Connor. She is the only person residing with them.
There is another entry for a Mary Moriarty, aged 18 years in Drom West.

I have my grandfather's (Patrick Murphy) birth certificate from 1905 showing Patrick Murphy as the father & Mary Murphy (nee Moriarty) as the mother. Mary was born on June 18, 1879. I have Mary's birth record along with those of her 16 siblings. They are all listed as living in Drom West. I have met many of the siblings. Many came to Rhode Island, USA. I also met at least 3 that remained in Glenbeigh . They were all quite elderly when I met them in the 1970's.
Thanks.
