My famine era emigrant ancester Maurice O'Connor who left Ireland during the Famine Black '47. He married Catherine Martin of Kilmalkedar Feb of 1846. Maurice traveled first and ended up laying RR track in New England. The RR line he worked on terminated in Brattleboro, VT about 1850 so that is where Maurice settled.
