Nolan and Walsh , Drombeg, Parish of Galey

Hi there, My GGrandfather was William Nolan of Gale(y).  His parents William Nolan and Mary Walsh were married 11th oct 1853 at the Ballybunion Catholic Church.  His father was born c.1834 in the East Indies to Dennis Nolan ( who I have heard worked for the East Indian Company) and Jennie Dowd and he had a sister Jane.  I have been unable to find a record of Dennis and Jennies marriage or of Janes birth.  A sponsor for William and Mary's first child Maurice was a Maurice Nolan.  In the Grifiths Valuation 1848-64 there are 2 Maurice Nolans listed one in the townland of Kylebwee under him is listed William Nolan of townland Gortcurren both of Listowel Parish.  Yet William and Mary's children for the most part were born in Drombeg, Parish of Galey, so this has me puzzled. 

Their son my GGrandfather William born in 1862 went to Australia then mid 1890's came to NZ. HIs oldest brother Maurice (born  1854) went to Australia, brother Dennis born 1856 went over to his Uncle Thomas Walsh in New York when he was 20 and in 1881 was ordained as a Priest.  His brother Thomas was born 1864, and I  don't know where he went to.  Mary born 1867 went to live with her brother Dennis  and in the 1901 USA census they are living in Massena,N.Y., with a nephew of Dennis's which might be Mary's son.  Next is Catherine born 1869, Ellen born 1871 and Honora born 1875.  In the 1901 Irish census the parents William and Mary were living with their 3 youngest daughter in Drombeg.  By the 1911 census the parents have died, Catherine has married John Downs and living in her parents hoause with her sisters Ellen and Honora. 

I would love to be reconnected with descendents of my GGrandfathers siblings and are hoping some of the family are still living in Ireland. I have connected with the some of the descendents of his brother Maurice who went to Australia and are happy to share any info I have that might help others in their search.

This has become rather lengthy so will write another message in regards to Williams mother Mary Walshes family.
