I am looking for information about my great-grandmother Margaret Reidy. She was born in County Kerry, Ireland in 1911. She was the daughter of the late Bridget and the late Patrick Reidy, and dear sister of the late Agnes Ahern of Tralee, Ireland. She immigrated to the United States in 1923.

Leahy of Charleville, Broad St.
This was the same family as the Leahy Bros. of Creggane, Charleville, Co. Limerick. The Leahys were great athletes and even won Olympic Medals 1906 ?.. The family moved out of Creggane approx 1970's and went to live in Mallow Co. Cork. Their uncle lived in Broad St. Charleville and had a pub. there for years his sons became doctors and one Strand area of the city and the other in Ballysheedy. Many of the family still live in Limerick City.

Hello, Quain. Your reply has attached to the wrong thread. Was it in answer to "Looking for Leahy connection" which was posted last year? That enquiry was about the family of John Leahy who kept a shop and pub in Broad St., Charleville, Limerick. You can find the correct thread by putting Leahy in the search box on the message board.
